Did you know? Allegri's Miserere was regarded as so special that the Pope ordered that only 3 copies were ever to leave the Vatican. However, Mozart, aged 14 wanted to hear the piece while visiting Rome. He went home and transcribed the piece from memory, proceeding to circulate it into the wider world. An original example of musical piracy!
